Born in Saint-Brieuc, Paul Dagorne discovers the documentary Rivers and Tides at school during his plastic arts course, in which the British artist Andy Goldsworthy presents his Land Art work and talks about his relationship with his production. At one point, he mentions that for him to work with stones, to manipulate them, to build with them, to see them standing and sometimes collapsing is a way of understanding them “the stones speak to me”.
